OSVALDO RAMIREZ CASTILLO

Born in El Salvador in 1978, Osvaldo Ramirez Castillo holds a master’s degree in fine arts from Concordia University (Montreal). He has participated in various group exhibitions across Canada and internationally, such as the Print Center in New York, the Kuma Gallery in Berlin, the Casa de Las Americas National Gallery in Cuba and more recently in the Southern Alberta Art Gallery. Ramirez Castillo is the recipient of numerous grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Quebec Council for the Arts and Letters, the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation and the prestigious Pollock-Krasner Foundation in the United States. Galerie Push proudly represents Osvaldo Ramirez Castillo in Montreal where the exhibition Mad Soldiers will be presented from March 24 to April 23, 2011.
