ROBYN CUMMING

Robyn Cumming is an artist photographer who works in Toronto, holds a master’s degree from York University and teaches at Ryerson University and the Ontario College of Art and Design. His work has been widely exhibited in Canada; most recently she was part of a group exhibition at the Power Plant called Adaption: Between Species . Cumming’s work was alsoexhibited in the United States and around the world.

Cumming has received numerous awards and grants, many of his photographs have been the subject of publications published by the Magenta Foundation, the Humble Arts Foundation and on the pages of many magazines and catalogs of contemporary art. Cumming’s work and his artistic practice were the subject of television episodes on the Bravo channels ! , Sex TV and Magenta Television .

Critics about her appeared among others on the pages of the National Post , the Globe and Mail , for Now Magazine and Mass Art Guide and broadcast on CBC Radio , CBC News. Cumming’s work can be found in public collections such as the MacDonald Stewart Art Center, York University and the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Art in Japan.
